Remember To Stain the World

Remember to stain the world

With one last drop of your ink

With one last roar of your name

With one last brushstroke of your sins

With one last silence that begs forgiveness

With one last laughter that slays regret

With one last moment that paints a memory

With one last word that fills the distance between

1–2 minutes

“I” and “you”

Remember to stain the world

With every last drop of you.

My name is Jenim Dibie. I'm a poet and writer. I've written four poetry books so far - Scarcast, The Calligraphy of God, How To Dance In Time, and I just released my fourth book - Birdsongs. I started writing poetry at an early age, and it has been the sole passion of my existence. I’ve written over 500 poems since my childhood. I love writing, music, movies, reading, dancing, and The Office. I decided to start blogging to give the world a warm hug, just as words have embraced me all my life. I hope to one day live in a house by the sea, with 10 dogs, and write a 100 books. May you find color in my black.
